The Joy of it All
A couple weeks ago I posted this photo to my Instagram with the caption:
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. #tracknation #runfree #enjoytheprocess
As I head into this month I've made a challenge for myself. This month is all about enjoying it all, and only talking about the joys in my life. I strongly believe that postive thinking brings positive results, and I want to get back to that. We all start the new year with high hopes, and new ideas, but slowly fall back into an old routine. Somewhere between the 3rd week of January and the 2nd week of Febuary I fell from my positive thinking bed. On Sunday I reevaluated the last couple weeks, and decided I needed to get back to enjoying everything around me.
This month I have a ton of projects planned, a strict plan to keep positive thoughts flowing, and I'm excited to get the track season started. What are some of your March goals?
