Get Your Skin Summer Ready
Everyone wants glowing beautiful skin, but in the summer it's wanted even more. So here are a few of my tips to start prepping your skin now for the summer.
1. Water: Hydration is the best thing you can do for your skin. Since your body is made up of 75% water, the best thing to give it is water. Water will help clear your skin, possibly stop those breakouts, and make your skin look radiant. So grab a water bottle, fill it up, and start drinking.
2. Skincare routine: If you already don't have a skincare routine down pack, start one now. It doesn't have to be lengthy or complicated, but it should have the basics. A cleanser, moisturizer, exfoliant, and a mask is all you really need in your skincare routine. Find the ones you love and stick to it. It will take a couple months before you really start seeing a difference but that will be right in time for summer.
3. Sleep: If you aren't getting enough sleep, it's because you are probably stressed. A lot of us are so busy with work we tend to not think that the lack of sleep we are getting is because of stress. Even if you don't feel stressed, you probably are. Especially if you lay down in bed and can never fall asleep when you want. Make sure to power down all electronics an hour before bed time. Take a bubble bath, read a book, settle your mind, and before you know it you will be getting enough sleep. This helps keep your skin from acting up on you. Stress can be a big factor to breakouts.
