DIY Home Decor | Transparent Candle Stand

I wanted to share this all with you since I'm in the middle of remodeling my room. This might be one of my favorite DIY projects because it's simple, super cute, and super affordable. Another great thing about this is that you can also make your stand any color you want. I decided to keep my stands clear since it goes better with the theme of my room makeover. The round base I will be giving away as a gift, because the square base is my favorite. I picked up my items from the dollar tree and I already had a glue gun and glue. So this project only cost me $4 to make two holders. If you are going to sand yours then spray paint it the total project will cost you an estimate of $12-15. Which is not bad for these candle holders.

So let's get started.

Supplies needed:

  • Glue Gun & glue
  • Candle plate
  • Candlestick holder
  • Sand paper (optional)
  • Spray paint (optional)

1. Make sure all items are clean and sticker free. Lay out newspaper and plug in hot glue gun.

 2. Once glue gun is hot and ready to go. Put glue around top of candle stick holder. make sure not to put to much so it doesn't spill over edges during the next step.

3. Quickly center candle plate on top of candle stick holder. Press and hold firmly for about 5 to 8 secs. You may want to measure and mark the center to make sure it's even. I just eyeballed it.

4. Wait about 10mins before setting candles on the stand to insure glue sets all the way. Put them on display and light those candles.

Hope you all like this DIY as much as I do. If you do want to spray paint these make sure to sand paper them and wipe with damp towel. This will allow the spray paint to stick to the surface without running. If you decided to make these take a picture and post to instagram with the #NikkisDIYHaven. I would love to see what you all come up with.
